What Is It That I Love?

If asked why I love her I would say
It’s the sway in her hips,
the thickness in her thighs.
It’s the lust in her lips,
the love in her eyes.
It’s the softness of her skin,
the silk in her hair.
It’s the twist in her walk;
it’s the sweetness in her talk.
It’s the way she loves me
that makes me love her each day.
I love my butterfly so much.
And I will be her star forever,
and shine so bright for her.
That is what I would say.

Winter Moonlight

The snow, so peaceful and serene,
caressed by the soft moonlight,
gave magical feelings to the night.

The soft blue glow,
the lovers' words that then did flow,
their lips closer and closer
until, locked in the throes
of a passionate embrace,
he decided to express his feelings,
to keep her safe.

He whispered softly,
his words like music to her ears,
"I Love You,"
and her response the same,
heard like the gentle breeze,
"And I, love you, forever."

That was the night they promised
to be together through everything,
each to care for the other when old and gray
A lovers' pact
the most likely to last.

A special world...

A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.

Blessed

How blessed I am that you are in my life
Not a day goes by when I do not think of you
You make everything alright
To you I do not have to prove myself
For you know me
I love you

How blessed I am that you are in my life
How honoured I am to be a part of yours
Memories made and shared
With you the one I love
My friend, my lover, my queen
'Til the end
love you my butterfly
I m your star forever

How the world is changing

  • While the effect of human activity on the global climate is hotly debated, physical signs of environmental change are all around us. Some scientists say an increase in the rate of melting of the world's glaciers is evidence of global warming. Argentina's Upsala Glacier was once the biggest in South America, but it is now disappearing at a rate of 200 metres per year. Other scientists say its reduction is due to complicated shifts in glacial dynamics and local geology.

Glacial change
American photographer Gary Braasch has been documenting images of environmental change since 1999.

The image on the left is from an 1859 etching of the Rhone glacier in Valais, Switzerland, and shows ice filling the valley.

In 2001, the glacier had shrunk by some 2.5km, and its 'snout' had shifted about 450 metres higher up.

Rising tides
Some scientists predict that a warmer climate will trigger more violent storms, which will cause increased rates of coastal erosion.

This is a section of shoreline at Cape Hatteras in North Carolina in the USA, pictured in 1999 and 2004. The southern United States and Caribbean region were battered by a series of powerful hurricanes last year.

Rising sea levels are also expected to speed up coastal erosion.

Vanishing islands
Other parts of the world could face even more drastic change.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), a consortium of several thousand independent scientists, predicts that sea levels could rise by between 9 and 88cm in the next century.

This would threaten low-lying islands such as Tuvalu in the Pacific. These images, taken this year, show the effects of a higher than usual tide.

<- Guide to love letters ->

You love him/her but don't know how to say it. The minute you see your beloved, your tongue gets stuck. So what do you do? Simple, write a love letter. Sure, in the age of email and fax, writing love letters seems to be completely passé but trust us, the formula still works. Even if you are going steady but live away from your partner, a handwritten letter is sure the please the daylights out of her. Nothing can match the impact of well-written letter that genuinely expresses your feelings for your beloved. So here are some tips to write a letter full of romance and desire. Be true. The letter will express your feelings. So if you don't feel strongly enough, your love letter won't ring true. So write only what you feel in your heart. Use good paper. Don't pen your feelings on some cheap white notepad. Use some good quality handmade paper for a romantic effect. Write with your hand. Printouts are for college projects. Yes, there is spell check on the computer but a small handwritten note has more impact than a long, long typewritten impersonal printout. If you don't trust your handwriting, ask a friend to write it down. Picture makes perfect. If you have it, add a nice photograph of you and your partner to the letter. It'll make the reader think of you fondly. Spell check. Please prepare a rough draft of your letter before you make a fair copy. You might expect your partner to love you with all your flaws but don't expect him/her to digest your spelling mistakes. Write from your heart. Do not use complicated or archaic words where simple words will do. Also avoid poetry, it can be romantic but it can also turn people off. Don't be too familiar. If you know him/her for just a couple of weeks you might consider using, "Dear.." Or "Hey." You don't want to go overboard by saying "my dearest" or "only mine." The reader might think you are getting too close for comfort. Try whacky. Have fun while writing your letter. Don't be too soppy and romantic. You can try a whacky or comic tone too. Your letter should have the power to bring a smile to your beloved's face. What do you know, s/he just might keep it for a lifetime.

The Secret To Attracting And Keeping [This is jus for girls not for boys ingey..kekekekekek]

The main PROBLEM here, and the thing that stood in your way, is that men aren't easy to understand. And when you find a good man, he doesn't come with an "instruction manual".

Just because your girlfriends told you it wasn't your fault, or that he was just "a jerk", doesn't mean that they understood the problem (or that they understand men at all, for that matter).

Most women don't "get" men. Your friends who try to comfort and encourage you have good intentions. They're just trying to make you feel better.

But they're also accidentally making the situation WORSE.

They're trying to blame the situation on HIM, instead of trying to help YOU understand how to KEEP a great guy around.

This situation is MOST dangerous when you meet a really GREAT GUY, but you don't know how to catch him or keep him. Let's face it, great guys are hard to find... and when you do find one, you can't afford to lose him because you made a dumb mistake.

You can't afford to throw away a good six months, a year... or even LONGER... and risk losing what could be a valuable relationship... just because you didn't know how to handle a particular situation.

Well, there is some good news here... I personally believe that there IS something you can do about it.

You CAN learn how to understand men and get them to be open up and understand you. You can learn how to CATCH that great guy, and how to KEEP him.

And how do I know this?

Because I AM a guy. And I've been in all the situations I just mentioned to you... from the OTHER side.

I've seen it from a man's perspective. I've been in those difficult "places" in dating, relationships, and love.

After years and years of experiencing these types of situations and hearing about them from my female friends, I decided to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT...

I spent well over a year carefully documenting and writing about my experiences. I spent much of that time researching, interviewing women, and working out all the ways a woman can get what she wants out of a relationship without scaring off the man she loves... and without letting any of those confusing "guy issues" get in the way.

The 3 Deadly Mistakes Women Make With Men
Without EVER Realizing It...
Through my research and personal experience, I've found that these 3 mistakes are responsible for more failed dates and relationships with men than any other factors. Here they are:

Mistake #1:
Leading A Man To Think You Are "Needy" And "Insecure"
Did you know that there are 6 ways you can set off a man's "Insecurity Alert" and make him think twice about pursuing a relationship with you?

Sadly, even confident women often "accidentally" give off one of these signs... and just one can kill the chance of a man asking you on a second date.

As you read through these signals men pick up on as "needy" and unattractive, ask yourself if YOU have ever been guilty of committing one of these deadly mistakes:

  • Talking or saying nasty things about your past boyfriends. Saying bad things about men you have been involved with actually reflects the negatively back on YOU. It makes a man worry you are carrying around "baggage" that HE will have to deal with should he become involved with you.
  • Speaking negatively about other women. When women call other women names like "slut", "bitch", and "crazy", it is anything but impressive to a man you are attracted you. Women will often do this when they see a good looking, desirable woman, especially if they feel their man might be attracted to her. This just makes a man think you are trying to cover up your own insecurities, and looking for validation and attention. Not good.
  • Too much physical contact, especially in public.
If you are constantly hanging on a man or touching him too much he'll start to see it as clingy behavior... but you'll never hear about this from him. It's far better to save your touches for short and infrequent moments that will surprise and enchant him.
The next 3 are far deadlier, but less obvious... and it's important that you learn what they are and how to avoid giving them off.
But before I show you how to do that, let's talk about mistake #2:

Mistake #2:
Appealing To His "Sexual" Side Instead Of His Emotional Side
Many women make the mistake of thinking that men are primarily driven by sex alone... and think if they can attract a man SEXUALLY they will be able to attract him EMOTIONALLY as well.

Women too often give up sex to a man in the hopes that it will translate into a relationship and get them what they want. In reality, a man has the capacity to view a sexual connection and an emotional connection as two entirely different things, and it requires a special set of skills to mold these two things together in a man's mind... and keep them connected.

Men are out for far more than just sex... and a woman who knows how to fulfill a man EMOTIONALLY and SEXUALLY will be the woman who captures a man's heart... and gets that same fulfillment for HERSELF. In a moment, I'll show you how you can learn to do just that...

Mistake #3: Not Knowing How To Size Up A Man's "Relationship Potential"

A lot of women will decide whether or not they should put energy into building a relationship with a man based on ATTRACTION.

Yes, attraction is important. But it can also be DANGEROUS.

When we feel a strong sense of attraction for someone, it can cause us to override our logic and ignore our instincts... leading us to overlook potential partner's deadly faults that could spell trouble down the road.

If you've ever found yourself stuck in a relationship that is dragging you down, this is probably why.

It's important to be able to size a guy up and spot any "warning signs" of a future bad relationship FAST... so you don't waste any of your time or emotional energy on someone who isn't right for you... or who will leave you heartbroken. Fortunately this is a fairly easy thing to do, and I'd like to show you how...

Here's How To Find, Attract, And KEEP The Man You've Always Wanted...

Wouldn't it be nice to skip the dozens of dates with lame and shallow men most women have to go through... and fall right into the arms of the man you really want?

Would you like to learn how to captivate a man with your sharp wits and your kind heart... and never have to worry about just being wanted for sex again?

Would you like to have an almost "unfair" advantage over all other women when it comes to meeting and attracting the man you want... including those women who might be prettier and younger than you?

Are you tired of dealing with men who never really commit?

Do you want to break out of the destructive cycle of meeting men, dating them, getting into relationships, quitting things that you like to do... only to end up breaking up with the guy and feeling like you wasted your love and your life away on him?

Do you ever feel like you just can't find the right man for you... and if you did... that he might not be attracted to YOU? Would you like to know how to change this?

Or is there a man in your life right now with whom you would like to take things from "casual" to "committed", but you're not sure exactly how to do it in a way that you know will work... or even if he is interested in in YOU the same way?

Or are you in a relationship right now that seems to be growing "stale"... because your man doesn't do nice things for you, call you, or make plans the way he used to... and you'd like a fast and easy way to get things back to the way they used to be?

If you answered, "YES" to any of these questions, I have some exciting news for you...

I've put together what I like to think of as a "man manual" that literally ANY woman can use to help her both CATCH and KEEP that great guy when he comes along.

The Secrets Men WISH You Knew-
But Don't Know How To Tell You...

Have you ever read a romance novel about a strong-willed woman who met a tough, "dangerous" alpha-male man... and over the course of the story, she "tamed" him and won him over... and made him fall completely and helplessly in love with her... to the point where he wanted to be with her FOREVER?

We've all heard this one before... but does it ever happen in real life?

The answer is YES.

Great guys get snagged all the time. Secretly ALL MEN want to find a woman that gives them that "forever" feeling... and when they do, they want to keep her all for themselves.

So how does this happen? How does a woman give a man that feeling that lets him know that she's "the one"?

Well... as you can imagine... most guys don't really think about this stuff.

And even if they did... just as you don't want to have to tell a man how to turn you on, a man doesn't want to tell you how to make him fall in love with you.

Like you, he just wants it to HAPPEN.

So even though your man will never tell you or even hint at how you can completely capture his heart, you can bet he is secretly hoping you will do all the right things.

And that's where I come in.

................ and I discovered some VERY interesting things...

I started off by talking with women I knew who had "landed" great guys... desirable, successful men that any woman would consider a "catch".

It goes without saying that many other women had tried (unsuccessfully) to tie these guys down.

Not surprisingly, I started to notice some common things...

I noticed that there was one distinct thing these women did at the very beginning to make a man see them as his "future" rather then just a "casual partner".

Each one of them also had a unique, yet simple and accurate way of instantly "sizing a guy up"... so they NEVER wasted time on a guy who wasn't up to their standards (Several of these methods actually got the guy to spill his own "dirty secrets" without knowing it!).

They also had a way of handling conflicts, important situations, and "the talk" that was VERY DIFFERENT from what most men are used to seeing (This method instantly puts a man at ease by creating a "you and I against the world" bond that he treasures deeply).

  • A Way To Get A Man's Attention FAST

If you REALLY want to impress a man who is flirting with you... instead of basking in his flirtatious attention, ask him - in an equally flirtatious way - this simple question:

"So tell me... what kind of woman do you respect?"

Adding a flirtatious element to a serious question is fun and inviting way of building SEXUAL TENSION that will instantly separate you from every other woman he's ever met. It lets him know that you're sassy, smart, and selective - an IRRESISTABLE combination.

How to Get a Girl to Like You..[this is only for guys ingey keke...]

Every girl is different--if they were all alike, you wouldn't be interested in this one in particular, now would you? There are as many different ways to get a girl as there are girls, so let's go over some basic rules that'll win over any girl worth getting.

  1. Have your own life.If you tend to fall into the "friend zone", this is especially important. Girls don't like guys who have no lives, and who cling to them like plastic wrap. Actually, some girls do like that, but usually for all the wrong reasons--either they're insecure and needy for attention, or they're control freaks who like to dominate guys. Unless you want to sign up for either of those scenarios, focus filling your time with your own friendship, interests, and goals
  2. Make an impression. There's no one-size-fits-all solution here. What impresses one girl might make another roll her eyes. Your best bet is to be yourself.Demonstrate a unique skill or talent that you're proud of, something that sets you apart from the crowd. Not only will this make her feel good about you, but it can boost your confidence too.
  3. Flirt. When you see or meet a girl you like, make brief eye contact.Smile. Strike up a casual conversation. Most importantly, relax.Don't think of her as the girl of your dreams; don't worry about what will happen if you make a bad joke, or you've got something stuck to your teeth. Enjoy interacting with this attractive, friendly girl whose path crossed yours. Live in the moment.
  4. Talk to her. Tell her what you really enjoy in life, what gets you excited and what you want to leap out of bed to pursue. Ask her what she really loves in life and what gets her excited. Be positive. If you have had a bad day, still greet them with pleasure and a big smile. Most importantly, listen
  5. Be romantic. The stereotypical icons of romance (roses, candles and chocolate) can only go so far. Think about what really gets that special someone excited. Recognize what makes her unique, and find/do things for them that only they would appreciate. What are her quirky (perhaps secret) interests, obsessions and fantasies? Whenever she's shopping, talking, or watching a movie, what makes her eyes light up? Pay attention! Being romantic means acknowledging how special a person is, and that means demonstrating that you know--better than anyone else in the world--what makes her unique.
  6. Break touch barrier. There are several ways to touch a girl without being sleazy. Hold her coat while she puts it on. Offer her your hand when she's stepping on an uneven surface. Hold out your elbow so she can link arms with you as you walk together. Hold out your hand so you can lead her through a crowd. Rub her hands when they're cold. These are all polite ways to get a little closer without being creepy. Still, if you see any signs of discomfort, stop! Otherwise, she'll probably enjoy the affection.
  7. Compliment her. If you really like this girl, you probably appreciate a lot of things about her. Why not let her know? If anything is different or new (her hairstyle, nail polish color, shirt), make note of it. The more unique the compliment, the better received it will be, unless she's shallow. Most girls like being complimented on something that makes them distinct, not something that plenty of other girls have. If you compliment her appearance, try to be original. Better yet, compliment her personality or skills.
  8. Make her laugh. Telling jokes or funny stories is the classic way to make a person laugh, but not the only one. Find out which are her favorite comedians, funny movies, or sitcoms. Watch them with her.Be bold and think of some antics that'll make her laugh. Tell her to dare you to do something, then do it (as long as it's not dangerous or illegal, of course).
  9. Ask her out. Invite her to go somewhere or do something with you--make sure it's something that you're both interested in. If you want, show her your world. Bring her somewhere that you feel comfortable and preferably, where you have or do something that you're proud of. Or, express interest in seeing her world. Is she a musician? Ask if you can see her perform. Is she a mathematician? Ask to read her report or thesis. Or, just go out for lunch or a cup of coffee and get to know her better.

Tips

  • Take your time. Don't be pushy or needy. Continue courting her by following the steps above, but don't rush things. If you end up in a relationship with this girl, she'll always remember how you made her feel when you were just getting to know each other. Make her feel appreciated, not invisible or smothered.

Warnings

  • Too much of anything is bad. Being too preoccupied with your own life, using every single opportunity to touch her, showering her with too many compliments, and cracking enough jokes to rival a stand up comedian can all ruin your chances with a girl.
  • Be hygienic. Body odor and uncleanliness are universal turn-offs. That includes bad breath, flatulence, burping, and foot odor. Shower and brush your teeth daily (right before you see her is ideal), trim your nails, and wash your clothes and shoes regularly. Some girls find the smell of cigarette smoke or strong cologne offensive.

Essential life skills..

We all want to live well and make the most of our lives. If we want to accomplish it effectively and to our full potential we must be able to put into practice the necessary life skills.

As with any job, sport or discipline, in order to be proficient at it, you must acquire and master the requisite skills. Living life fully and productively is no different.

Where do you begin?

You begin by establishing a firm foundation. That foundation is "you". You must know who you are, what you want, and what you are capable of. You must then determine which values, goals and principles you will set up to guide your actions.

Learning about and applying the life skills will help you:

  • know and understand yourself better
  • live life more consciously and deliberately
  • attain personal satisfaction and fulfillment.

Often, the hardest part in any endeavor is getting started, however once you do, there is a surprising snowball effect. You begin to feel good about what you’re doing and you want to continue. You want to improve yourself and you want to be a better you.

As you embark on the road to personal development you become aware that there is so much knowledge and information to be discovered and uncovered; knowledge about yourself, knowledge about others, knowledge about life and the world around you.

According to Aristotle: "All men by nature desire knowledge."

Personal growth and development is about desiring and pursuing knowledge.

To assist you in your pursuit of knowledge and in expanding your horizons, I encourage you to read and explore the pages on the arts, philosophy, and sports .

Sometimes we underestimate how much they contribute to personal growth and development and the balancing of the personality.

Enjoy also the inspirational quotes, and personal development articles that include tips and strategies, as well as other interesting resources.

Acquiring Essential Life Skills will not only contribute to your personal growth and development, it will make you a more interesting and dynamic individual.

Why are these skills essential?

Because without having developed them, you will always feel that something is missing in your life. What good is all the financial success in the world if you don't love yourself, know yourself, know what you really want or what you're doing here? We've all witnessed many outwardly successful and famous people who have not been able to find personal happiness. No amount of fame or fortune could fill the void they felt inside.

Therefore, in order to enjoy the fruits of any achievement we must first be happy with ourselves and possess the following:

A healthy Self-Concept which includes the three skills of:
1. Know Yourself,
2. Love Yourself,
3. Be True To Yourself.

Critical Thinking is needed to work on developing and honing the rest of the skills including:
4. Having A Personal Value System,
5. Perspective,
6. Have An Open Mind,
7. Sense Of Humor,
8. Resilience,
9. Acceptance.

Personal development is an ongoing process and journey. As Robert Louis Stevenson said:

"To be what we are, and to become what we are capable of becoming, is the only end of life."

R u mine?..yes u r mine..baby i m always ur star....

Are You Mine all life through?
Will you kiss me when I'm blue?
Will you whisper I love you
And make all my dreams come true?
Will you share the good and bad?

Don't worry dear, have no fear, 'cause I'm yours.

Tell me darling, are you mine, and only mine.........

Inside my sleeve, I pull out my heart,
handing it to you, "careful it's fragile,
and easily falls apart."

Extending your arms, you take the heart in
your tender warm hands.
It falls into a million shattered pieces - on
the floor it lands.

You begin to bend down to pick it up, sorrow and
sadness in your eyes.

Apologies are not enough.

Looking at you with tears in my eyes,
I ask you not to pick up the pieces of a heart
that has fallen apart.

I am the one who needs to pick up the pieces of
my shattered heart - one by one, piece by piece.

I need to put it together again, some how. some way.

Each piece of my heart has a memory so true.
Each piece of my heart has part of you.

You are the one who is leaving to start a new lease on life.
I'll just be here on my knees picking up the pieces of a
heart that feels like it's being pierced with a knife.

All my tears won't keep you near
All my tears won't mend what's not here.

Again I look at you with a whisper in my voice,
The only way my heart will mend and finally be complete,
is if you and I can come together without being discreet.
You see, what we have here and today, helps me face the
world, with a love for you that gives a glow -
but now, my darling, you made a choice.

My heart is on this floor, shattered and broke.
With each piece I pick up -
I need to learn to let go.

Never had a dream come true by s7club

Everybody’s got something, they had to leave behind,
One regret from yesterday, that just seems to grow with time,
There’s no use looking back, or wondering, (or wondering),
How it could be now, or might have been, (or might have been),
All this I know, but still I can’t find ways to let you go,

I never had a dream come true
Till the day that I found you
Even though I pretend that I’ve moved on
You’ll always be my baby,
I never found the words to say
You’re the one I think about each day
And I know no matter where life takes me to
A part of me will always be with you.

Somewhere in my memory I’ve lost all sense of time,
And tomorrow can never be cause yesterday is all that fills my mind,
There’s no use looking back, or wondering (or wondering),
How it should be now, or might have been (or might have been),
Oh this I know but still I can’t find ways to let you go,

I never had a dream come true
Till the day that I found you
Even though I pretend that I’ve moved on
You’ll always be my baby,
I never found the words to say
You’re the one I think about each day
And I know no matter where life takes me to
A part of me will always be

You’ll always be the dream that fills my head
Yes you will, say you will, you know you will oh baby,
You’ll always be the one I know I’ll never forget,
There’s no use looking back or wondering, (or wondering),
Because love is a strange and funny thing, (and funny thing),
No matter how I try and try I just can’t say goodbye, no no no no.

I never had a dream come true
Till the day that I found you
Even though I pretend that I’ve moved on
You’ll always be my baby,
I never found the words to say, (never found the words to say),
You’re the one I think about each day, (you’re the one I think about each day),
And I know no matter where life takes me to
A part of me will always be...
A part of me will always be with you, oooohhh

AS SPECIAL FRIEND

Tasting The Rain Drops

Looking in your eyes
I feel myself falling in love with you
You said I love you
And I said it too

We went to our very own special spot
For no real reason at all
We sat and talked and looked at one another
And then the rain began to fall

We could have left just as quick as we came
But no, you wanted to stay in the rain
You asked me a question I’ll never forget
Have you ever tasted the raindrops?

I looked at you funny and you gave me a sigh
The cutest look, as I wondered, why?
Why, did you ask me to taste the rain?
Well, what did have to loose or gain?

I watched you with a careful eye
And did the same as you
You were looking up at the cloudy sky
But my eyes were stuck on you like glue

I lifted my head to look at the sky
And closed my eyes really tight
Just as I thought I’d caught a raindrop
You suddenly held me tight

I opened my eyes with slight alarm
As you kissed me soft and sweet
I remember that kiss like it was yesterday
I still feel those raindrops on my cheek

I tasted the raindrops like I never had before
It was worth every second of bliss
Every time I think of that moment
I think of my raindrop kiss

We sat close together on that one special rock
And we held each other tight
Then almost as suddenly as it came
The sun came out from beneath the rain

The most beautiful colors I’ve ever seen
Came out on the western sky
The sun was setting and the moment was perfect
More than any money could buy

As the sun slowly set and the sky lit up
You began carving our names in our special rock
I told you I would never forget this moment
In my heart this memory is locked

As our names were finished and permanently engraved
We watched the sun finish its day
We slowly got up to leave this place
Which was a year ago this May

I haven’t been to that spot in a year
Where did all the time go?
I will visit this place alone this time
And I will finally have to let go

This memory will be in my heart forever
But you will not remain in my mind
I don’t know if that love, will be seen again
For that love I cannot find

I will go to this spot as we promised we would
But you will not be there this time
Why is it that you can’t keep your promise?
I know that I’m keeping mine

Never again will I taste the raindrops
The way I did with you
And when I go to this spot again
I will say goodbye to you.
